[Feng Shui] Ecological Balance—Don't Ruin the Water
Environmental Balance
Feng shui seeks the balance of “Five Elements,” but this balance is dynamic.
Bad Examples ❌
In Wet/Cold Seattle or London (Water Excess) ☔
Teaching readers to put a huge fish tank (Water) at home is counterproductive.
- Solution: The home needs more warm lighting (Fire) and dehumidification.
In Hot Dubai or Las Vegas (Fire/Earth Excess) ☀️
Teaching readers to do a “Period 9 Fire” renovation with red everywhere could create significant imbalance.
- Solution: Instead, use cool tones and water features to cool down (Climate Regulation).
💡 Master Mindset
True feng shui masters don’t apply rigid formulas. They look at “What is missing here?”
- Places lacking sun (High Latitude) → Feng shui needs to maximize light.
- Places with harsh sun (Low Latitude/Desert) → Feng shui needs to provide shade.
An environment that makes the human body feel comfortable is good feng shui for that place.
